"Book on CD" Giants?

The Giants are the 3 point underdogs today playing in Texas. No, not Dallas, the other team from that State…No pick today, to me it’s a toss up because you never who is going to show up for the Giants team and I don’t know anything about the team they are playing… Last week the offense didn’t show up but the defense did…. It turned out to be good game but a bit of a nail biter. The Giants should pull it off today but I won’t commit to any prediction… it’s a trust thing…Today I’m going to make Shrimp Scampi. I have most of the ingredients but I will go the store for fresh salad in a little while…

I thought I would mention that I am just finishing listening to Nelson DeMille’s new book on CD “The Lion”. I have read many of these types of books and just when you think you have heard the best someone writes another good one…The reader Scott Brick narrates and its amazing how he puts you there in the action. Its like you are standing on the sidelines near the characters and living everything they do… …Don’t miss this one…

I went to library yesterday to find another book, it’s a never ending search, almost like a treasure hunt. I go to 4 libraries in 4 towns. .…Its good to stay ahead of the game. Low and behold, there it was, I had found James Lee Burke’s new book “The Glass Rainbow”. It was like finding a rare coin. I can’t believe no one put that on hold…There it was in the book return! What a surprise! A gift from the Book on CD God!….The reader, narrator in this one is Will Patton. I’m glad they brought him back, he was missing for a while….He is the Dave Robicheaux character to a tee. I can’t wait to start it…..Later guys, Libby I hope you feel better….
