"Take A Stand"

Yesterday I did walk the beaches and today I will do some the same….Well, maybe I’ll take my bike with me. The humidity is not as bad but the sweltering heat is still here…Its really hot where I used to live, At least here the breeze is constant… I know I’m not alone and its hot everywhere. I am not complaining but I think as the years pass it will get hotter. The thing is any amount of exercise means sweat and that’s a good thing….My air conditioner is teetering on the edge but it is still working. I refuse to buy another one. I don’t like getting something to replace something that works…Its such a waste. No Rants today…Live and let live …But I did get this in the mail via a friend of mine…I’m not alone in the way I feel and I hope and pray our “Government” loses in court and starts making those tough decisions….I don’t usually publish someone else’s opinion and this will be the first time because we need to take a stand. In this case I don’t think they will mind…Please excuse the small print….

  Subj: Map of my country
My great grandfather watched as his friends died in the Civil War, my father watched as his friends died in WW II, and I watched as my friends died in  Vietnam.  None of them died for the Mexican Flag.  Everyone died for the U.S. Flag.  Just this week, here  in Texas, a student raised a Mexican flag on a school flag pole; another student took it down.  Guess who was expelled...the kid who took it down.  Kids in high school in California were sent home this week on Cinco de Mayo because they wore T-shirts with the American flag printed on them.  Enough is enough.  The below e-mail message needs to be viewed by every American; and every American needs to stand up for America.  We've bent over to appease the America-haters long enough.  I'm taking a stand.  I'm standing up because the hundreds of thousands who died fighting in wars for this country, and for the U.S. Flag can't stand up.  If you agree, stand up with me.  And shame on anyone who tries to make this a racist message.
