"Hook Shot"

The car is not done…Everything was going good till the Ford garage discovered with apologies that they didn’t have the parts….I’m going back Wednesday…Its much too complicated to explain. It shouldn’t take long to finish then maybe I’ll take a trip up north. It depends on the weather of coarse. I could say a lot of things about the parts problem but what’s the point…Acceptance is setting in and I put this car thing off for so long it doesn’t make any difference. That was the bad thing that happened… The good thing was that I fixed my Windows 7 computer. All it took was about 3 clicks in the right places and there it was…It asked me if I was sure I wanted to change the settings? Duh….Microsoft always asks the hard questions. Needless to say, I clicked yes. It then told me to restart, I did and there it was. I learned a lot by this experience….Well, not really. It was more of a reminder to me that when there is a problem to sit back take a breath…..Put what ever is wrong away. Then later on or the next day go back to the issue and it usually will resolve its self. I must admit the flying mouse was funny…..The inside story is, I knew I had the original mouse and I thought to myself what if I plugged it in and tried it? Remember, all this started with that pesky sluggish mouse? The original part just might correct the problem. Then, I thought I really don’t like this cordless one, so why not see if it flies? I didn’t actually throw it. I tossed it like a basketball hook shot over the counter to the kitchen floor and you know the rest…I did get angry but it was more of a controlled and planned anger event…I haven’t done that in a long time so I thought, Why not? I allowed myself to cross the anger line making sure that Willie was not in the way….What was interesting was later on and the next day he kept bringing me various parts and pieces and putting them on the floor next to me….Almost like he was saying, here Dad put this back together……Oh well….Everything is back to normal. Only today the sky is blue the temperature is going up. Believe it or not yesterday I seen 4 people with shorts on…’s a sign of things to come….
