"Olympicized"

Sunday…Ah, and what to make for dinner….Winter is a good time to practice my cooking skills. Its also a good time gain weight and get out of shape. Today I think I will make a pork roast and some asparagus and some of my special potatoes. I was talking to friend of mine last night and it seems boredom is rampant. She called it “Cabin Fever”. She said,"She’s into sailing". I am getting my bike ready and its in the living room now. The only thing we have is walking on the snowy beach or taking pictures of green and blue ice…I was in Mystic Connecticut last night. Night or day, its really nice there….Today I’m being" Olympicized"  to death. That’s alright, some of these kids are absolutely astounding….The opening show was simply beautiful. The talent some of these men and woman have is amazing. People see the finished product but the practice to get where they are is constant. They live and breath the skills they have. Yes, there are some naturals when it comes to coordination and balance but to peak those things out is a daily thing…And today everything is stretched to the limit. What’s going to happen when you can go, no faster or no higher? The human body can only be pushed so far before it breaks. The Luge guy found that out when he hit that pillar. The short track speed skating guy is so lucky….I can’t believe that those guys fell to allow him to come second. Seems like coach put too emphasis on winning and not to hang on to what you have and live to skate another day……Meanwhile here are some more Ice Pictures from another location…The only chance I took was taking these on the side the highway…..Boy, some people drive like crazy fools. People should think of themselves inside of a 4000 pound missile going seventy or eighty miles per hour. If you hit something at those speeds it will be catastrophic. Later guys, I’ve got to go to the store….
