"Just Think About It"

What a beautiful day yesterday. I did a 15 miler in the morning in Old Saybrook and in the afternoon went down town and rode around the local beaches. I could not stop and I didn’t want the day to end. I sat in the sun on Main street to have a cup of coffee while down town and talked to some local people about the changes in the world and our society. This topic seems to come up automatically with out me bringing it up. There is apprehension everywhere. I not alone with my views of what’s going on locally and in the world around us.. The highlight of the day was when I was in Old Saybrook by the ocean and I met a beautiful woman walking her dog. We talked for about a half hour. The result of that conversation was me asking her out to dinner. I suggested to her to think about it and call me. I couldn’t, not ask her. It was like I had to. If I didn’t, I know I would regret it and be thinking about her all the time. I hope she calls. I really would like to see her again…She is an outdoor person like me and I think we have a lot in common. A dinner by the ocean would be like a dream. Today, this afternoon I’ll be down town again until dark. There will be less tourists and that’s a good thing. I can’t stop thinking about yesterday. And its not about the bike riding…..
