Answer for question 4577.

What urges you to wake up every day and get out there in the world (besides your alarm clock)? Do you have a particular goal you're working towards? What makes you happy in your life -- are you getting to do that enough, or is too much of your time being taken up by other, less-satisfying things?
There is a whole other world out there when you retire. It takes a while to used to the idea of not getting up in the morning. Developing a routine is another thing. I have been retired for a while now and its nice not to have to get up in the morning or go out in a snowstorm. There are lots of benefits and things to do because you have plenty of time to do them when you want to... I drove from Connecticut to the Gulf of Mexico just because I was never there and I wanted to. I live by ocean and I can go to the beach on a whim. I'm healthy so its really nice.. You do have a tendency to get lazy but that's OK too. I thank God for every day I can do this and am grateful for every moment..
